Thanksgiving in Oregon

Last night we got back from our trip to Oregon. We had a lot of fun spending the Thanksgiving holiday there. All of our family and friends there finally got to meet Riley! Thanks to everyone for all your hospitality! We had a great time =)

Riley did well on the plane both times we went. Flying at night with her was easy because she slept. I was worried she would freak out in the car because normally she hates traveling but, she did well to my relief. Because of the weather and flight delays we didn't end up arriving in Roseburg until 2:30 am Wednesday morning. The cold weather was a big change from what we are use to in Arizona. It was 20 degrees when we arrived. Unfortunately, due to the weather I was unable to bring Riley to the Duck tailgate with me Friday like I had orginally planned. But, we had a great time watching the Ducks beat the Wildcats on TV! Can't wait to see them beat the Beavers this weekend in the Civil War!

Today Riley had her four month check up. She weighed in at 12 lbs 12 oz and measured 25 inches in length. She is only in the 25th percentile for weight but in the 75th percentile for length (maybe she will be tall and skinny like her mama!...although these days the being skinny is a distant memory for me haha!). Riley was pretty fussy all day today and I think that was because of her shots. Hopefully, she will be in a better mood tomorrow while I decorate our house for Christmas. We are starting her on rice cereal this week so I will be sure to post pics of her transition to solids =) Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving!
