Arizona in December!

Dealing with the hot summers here is totally worth it because the rest of the year is absolutely beautiful! It's the middle of December and the temperature ranges between 75 and 80 degrees! We are loving it and are so happy we moved here!

Everything is going great right now. Ryan's new position at the new hospital location got pushed back until February due to construction delays. Until then he will working in Scottsdale. I am officially working three days a week (Mon-Wed) at two different dental offices that I really enjoy. One is located in Chandler and the other is in Scottsdale. They are both 20 minutes from our house which isn't that far. The best part is Ryan watches her Monday and Tuesday so we only need a sitter for one day a week on Wednesdays. She is a really nice girl who works with Ryan and charges us very little to watch her at our house. So nice that we found someone we trust! I feel lucky that I am able to spend the rest of the week Riley. I plan to work part-time until our kids are a little older.

Ryan turned 28 last week and my mom came down for a visit. We didn't do much but relax while she was here. I was able to take Ryan out to dinner for his birthday which was nice. Thanks for all your help with Riley Mom!

We are so excited for Christmas this year =) We are planning on celebrating early with my family this coming weekend in California. It will be great to see everyone back home even if it is only a short visit. This will be our first Christmas away from our families...celebrating it for the first time as our own new little family in Arizona. Even though Riley won't remember it we want to make it special for her. She will get to try her first real solid food then and I plan to make Ryan a Christmas turkey feast =) She actually started eating rice cereal last week for the first time and it was pretty funny. She doesn't really get the concept of being fed by a spoon yet and gets frustrated. But, we are consistent with it and everyday she seems to be getting better. We finshed decorating our house this past weekend and yesterday we got our tree. Tonight we plan to decorate it. I will be sure post Christmas pics soon! Hope all of you had a great weekend! Can't wait for our visit to California at the end of the week!!
