Things have been going very well for us here. Ryan found out he is going to be the head doctor at the new hospital location in Tempe starting in January. I also just got a job at my favorite office here in Chandler. Right now it is only for Mondays but that works out perfectly with our schedule since Ryan is off that day. The office said the position could turn into additional days so I am hoping for that but, still applying for two other days at other places. Ideally, I would like to work Mon-Wed so then I can have nice long weekends to spend with Riley!
Riley continues to grow and change each day. She is now sleeping 12-13 hours at night which is awesome. She rolled over by herself the other day. Since then she has only done it one other time. She is fasinated by her hands. She looks at them all the time and sticks them all the way into her mouth...often gagging herself! I thought she was coughing in the middle of the night because she was trying to suck her thumb but I think it turns out she has her first little cold. She seem content but she has been sneezing and has a runny nose. Hope she gets better soon because we don't like to see her sick. She gets her second set of shots November 30th. At that appointment we are going to see if we can start her on solid foods. I thought it would be cute to give her some sweet potatoes on Christmas as her first introduction to solids =) She will be five months old then! Time flies!
We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and family in Oregon over Thanksgiving. Hard to believe that's only two weeks away! Hope all of you are having a great week! We miss you!! Congrats to Monica and Kevin on their engagement!!!! We are so happy for you both and can't wait for the wedding next fall =)
