Pearce Party of Four:: Wedding Weekend in California

A couple weeks ago, Ryan, Riley & I took a trip to California for a wedding. Lindsay, the bride, is one of my closest friends from high school and she made the most beautiful bride. It was great because the wedding was in my hometown so, we were able to see my family over the weekend too! It was a weekend that was jammed packed with events. Friday, after we landed, I went straight to a bridesmaid get together, then to the rehearsal, and then to the rehearsal dinner. Saturday, the girls started getting ready at 8am so I was gone from the morn until the wedding ended Saturday night. Thanks to my mom for watching Riley Friday and to my dad, Pam, and grandma for watching Riley on Saturday! It really helped us out a lot and we hope you enjoyed your time with her.

The wedding ceremony was held at a beautiful Catholic church in Santa Clara where the bride went to college. The reception was equally as beautiful at the Palo Alto Hills Country Club. My mom was able to attend the festivities on Saturday and it was so nice to have her as company. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. McBain! The wedding was so much fun and we hope you have a blast in Europe on your honeymoon!

Sunday, we had a second 1st birthday party for Riley with my family and close friends. I'll post pics of all her bday party celebrations soon! August is going to be a busy month for us. We are taking a trip to Oregon for my college roomate's wedding, Riley is having her third and final 1st birthday party in Roseburg, Ryan and I will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, and at the end of the month Ryan's mom and grandma are coming to visit us in AZ.
