Fun in May!

Last month we took two trips. The first trip was to Monterey in California for Ashley and Brian's wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the bride looked stunning. It was nice to have a little break and spend time with Ryan and my family. Thanks to Michelle and Angela for watching Riley for us while we were away. And a special thanks to Ashley and Brian for including us on such a special day in their lives. Below are some pics of the wedding.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Connelly!

The second trip we took was our first mini family vacation in AZ. Ryan, Riley and I drove about two hours to Flagstaff and spent two nights there. The first day we got to Flagstaff we walked around the historic downtown area and visited the Lowell Observatory (a famous astronomical site). It was nice to get out of town and experience some cooler weather. Although, it was extremely windy there. On the second day we took a side trip to the Grand Canyon. It was such an amazing site to see. Ryan and I had both been there before when we were kids but, we felt we had a greater appreciation for its beauty as adults. I know we will be taking more family vacations there as our children grow up. The third day we headed home and stopped in Sedona along the way. The little town was filled with cute little shops and amazing scenery. After exploring more of Arizona we are now even happier that we moved here. The state has so much more to offer than people think. Yes, it is hot and yes, we do live in the desert but, just drive two hours away and you can be in the mountains, or by an awesome lake, or even to a world famous canyon! Life in Arizona is great and we hope we have more visitors soon :) Here are some pictures of our trip:
