Pearce Party of Four:: Latest News From October

It's been a few weeks since we updated our blog so, here's the latest. My mom and Melissa came to visit us at the beginning of October. We celebrated my mom's belated birthday and had a great time. Ryan and I also got a special treat when we finally celebrated our first wedding anniversary (better late than never)! Thanks so much for watching Riley for us. We enjoyed spending the night out together.

I started my own first time parent group last week. I am excited to meet other couples new to parenthood soon. We have a few halloween meetups planned so I will be sure to post pictures from those soon. I am also ready to start working again so I have been sending out my resume to dental offices for permanent part-time work on Mondays and Tuesdays. In the mean time, I am working through three different temp agencies until I find a permanent position. My first temp job starts this Monday.

On a sad note, my grandfather passed away on Sunday. I flew to Sacramento to spend time with my family for a couple of days while Ryan watched Riley. Grammie please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Poppy was greatly loved and will forever be missed.

During my visit to Sacramento I got to meet my new nephew Colton. He's a cutie and I'm so happy I was able to spend time with him. It's nice that Riley is so close in age to him. They will have fun playing together!

Next weekend we are going to the pumpkin patch and Bianca comes to visit. We are so excited! Hope all of you have a great weekend!
