Riley's First Trip To California

Riley and I took our first trip together back to California. We were there for two weeks and had a great time. I wanted to surprise my sister because she was due with her second baby on September 4th. I also wanted my friends and the rest of my family to meet Riley. The trip was great because it allowed me time to get some rest while my family and friends helped me out with the baby. Riley did great on her first plane ride on the way to San Fran. She slept the whole way. She did pretty well on the way back except for the last 15 minutes. I think her ears hurt her as we were descending.

My sister had her baby on September 12th...a week overdue but with a very fast labor (she was only in labor for an hour...lucky!!) Colton James is adorable and we are so happy for the Haedrich family. Can't wait to see you all in December!
